Head to the island's highest point and you'll find the majestic Far de la Mola, a lighthouse standing guard on the edge of a dramatic cliff since 1861. The views out over the Mediterranean are absolutely breathtaking, making it a favorite spot for watching the sunrise. There's a small museum inside dedicated to our maritime history, and a monument to Jules Verne, who was inspired by this very spot. While you can drive right up to the lighthouse, the best experience is to walk the final stretch to really take in the wild, windswept scenery.
