One of the most beautiful spots on Formentera. A tiny fishing harbor with traditional wooden boat shelters (varaderos) lined up along the crystal clear water. The harbor is so photogenic it almost looks staged. Walk along the waterfront to see the old fishing boats and the stunning turquoise water. Restaurant Can Rafalet and Es Caló restaurant both overlook the bay and serve excellent fresh seafood — the lobster paella and black rice are specialties. This is also the starting point for the dramatic road up to La Mola — the switchbacks offer incredible views back over the coast. Combine with a visit to nearby Ses Platjetes beach for snorkeling. Best visited in the morning when the light hits the harbor, or at lunch for a long, slow seafood meal with bay views.
