We highly recommend that you purchase the "America the Beautiful" pass. It covers entrance fees and standard amenity fees (day-use fees) at Federal recreational sites, including national parks, for 1 year.

Currently, it costs $80.00 for residents. You'll probably be able to puchase the pass at the first National Park you visit - we bought ours in Saguaro.

‼️ From 1/1/26: America the Beautiful Pass now costs 250$ for non-residents (covers everyone in the vehicle) OR every person will have to pay an additional fee of 100$ in some of the most popular parks (Acadia, Bryce Canyon, Everglades, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Sequoia & Kings Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion)

While the cost is raised significantly for non-residents, it is still worth buying the pass, as you'll be visiting 4 of the "extra fee" affected National Parks on this trip.
