Saba is small, safe, and refreshingly off the radar, but a few tips will help you make the most of your trip:
Connectivity: Wi-Fi is available in most hotels and cafes, but it’s not lightning fast. Great for unplugging or low-key remote work.
Cell Phone Service: Get Connected to cell data with Airalo e-SIMS.
Cash & Cards: Most places accept credit cards, but some restaurants and shops prefer cash. There's an ATM in Windwardside.
Transportation: No rental cars needed. Taxis are reliable and can be booked through your accommodation. Some travelers walk or hitch rides (safely).
Packing Tips:
Bring comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
Light layers — it’s cooler in the higher villages
Rain jacket for sudden showers
Reef-safe sunscreen and a reusable water bottle
Health & Safety: Tap water is safe to drink. The island is extremely safe, with low crime.
Tip:
Allow flexibility in your travel plans — both flights and ferries can be delayed due to weather.
