How Long Should You Stay on Saba?
While some people visit Saba as a day trip from St. Maarten, that barely scratches the surface. For a slow travel experience, here’s what to consider:
Minimum Stay: 2–3 nights to enjoy a couple of hikes, a dive/snorkel trip, and explore the villages.
Ideal Stay: 4–5 nights gives you time to hike multiple trails, dive, relax, and experience the local culture without rushing.
Divers: Consider 5–7 days if diving is your focus — most dive shops offer multi-day dive packages.
Saba rewards travelers who stay a little longer. With its limited transportation in and out, allowing extra days also gives a buffer for weather-related delays.
