Tirta Empul, also known as the Holy Hot Spring, is a sacred water temple in Bali that attracts both locals and tourists alike. This temple is believed to have been created by the God Indra and is said to contain blessed water that can purify those who bathe in it. The temple complex is quite large and takes about 30 minutes to an hour to explore. Visitors can participate in the purification ritual known as melukat, where they dip their heads under the waterspouts in the holy springs. It's a unique and incredible experience that should definitely be on your Bali bucket list!
