This spot is located very close to our home. We know it by heart and thus we can assure you: The view is amazing, also without the sea of fog! You can reach the alp if you hike up from Walenstadt (this is for the sporty ones), or you can drive up by car. In any case, you will be able to see the whole valley and lake Walensee from above. Also, the mighty mountain chain of the "Churfirsten" is overlooking you. Moreover, Lüsis is the perfect starting point for hikes in this area. We recommend you hiking up to Chäserrugg (only if you're an advanced hiker) or to Alp Tschingla or Alp Sennis. If you're lucky and there the chance to witness sunset over the lake or even over a sea of fog, take it! You can stay in the mountain guesthouse "Lüsis" and enjoy the calm atmosphere high above the valley...
