This mountain hut is surrounded by two dammed lakes which are beautiful! To arrive at the starting point of the hike to the hut, you need to take the cable car "Tierfehd - Kalktrittli". From there on it is a steep hike, almost until you have reached the hut. Finally arrived, you can rest and enjoy the hospitality of the caretakers of the hut. Also don't miss the chance to walk down to the hill that is situated south and offers the perfect spot to watch sunset with a view on lake Limmerensee.
