The Tomasee is not only a beautiful lake but also the source of the river Rhine. It's shape and the river flowing into it resemble a heart, which makes it very special to climb up to the Rossbodenstock which is the peak just behind the lake. From there you have an amazing view onto the lake. It is also a great place for camping since the wast grass field just next to the lake offers a great underground for comfortable sleeping.
