Starting from the Alp Grüm train station the path is signalized very well up to the lake. It will take you some time to ascent all the meters of altitude. If you are early in the year, in May or June there might. still be ice in the lake that makes it look even cooler, since with the glacier above it, it gives the feeling that it is ice from the glacier. We. recommend to go there for sunrise, since at sunset the sun disappears behind the massive rock walls surrounding the lake.
