Starting at Pontresina you can either hike up to the Alp Pontresina or take the cable car. We recommend you take the cable car, since you will have enough meters to ascend afterwards. It is probably one of the easier peaks to ascend which have such a high altitude in Switzerland. On top there is even a mountain hut, where you can either stay overnight or just refresh yourself with some drinks or food.
