Escape to a true hidden gem at Kamumu Waterfall, a stunning multi-tiered cascade tucked away in a serene forest. The drive here takes about one hour from Luwuk, followed by 15-20 minute walk from the local village parking area, passing through charming community plantations along the way. Whilst probably being easy when dry this was one of the muddiest and slipperiest path I've seen since it had rained for a few days. Once there, you're rewarded with the sight of turquoise pools perfect for a refreshing swim and a tranquil atmosphere that feels worlds away from everything. After rain the water can be a tad muddy.
