Potter Marsh, located at the southern end of the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge, is a sweet spot for birders and wildlife enthusiasts looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Anchorage. With a wooden boardwalk winding through the marsh, visitors can catch glimpses of waterfowl like Canada geese and northern pintails, as well as moose and muskrats hanging out in the wetland. Keep an eye out for eagle nests in the cottonwoods and spawning salmon in Rabbit Creek. It's a chill place to soak in some nature and maybe snap a few pics!
