Nenana, a small city in Alaska, is nestled at the confluence of the Nenana River and the Tanana River. With a population of around 358 people, it's known for its historic Mears Memorial Bridge and as the starting point of the 1925 serum run to Nome. The town hosts the quirky Nenana Ice Classic, where folks bet on when the river ice will break up. Despite its remote location, Nenana offers a unique blend of history, nature, and community spirit.
