Quite possibly my favourite metropolitan beach in Adelaide. It’s much quieter than the main Glenelg beach, which means you often have the sand and water almost to yourself especially in the mornings. I’ve spotted dolphins here more than a few times, which makes both sunrise and sunset walks even more magical. There aren’t any shops along the beach, except for the occasional morning coffee pop-up, so it really feels like a calm escape from the city. Oh and we were blessed with the opportunity of capturing the Southern Lights at this beach too!
If you're up for some exercise, the walk from Glenelg North to West Beach boat ramp is lovely too – perfect for a peaceful stroll, some fresh air, and a moment to just take in the ocean.
