Mission San Xavier del Bac, located near Tucson, Arizona, is a historic Spanish Catholic mission founded in 1692 by Eusebio Kino. The current structure, built between 1783 and 1797, stands as the oldest European building in Arizona. Known for its stunning Spanish Colonial architecture, the mission attracts around 200,000 visitors annually and serves as an active parish church on the Tohono O'odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation. With its ornate interior, colorful artwork, and ongoing restoration efforts, San Xavier del Bac remains a cherished cultural and religious landmark in the region.

It is free to enter, but if you decide you'd like to do a guided tour, they are offered on a donation basis. They suggest $5 per person.
