Loyly Sauna Southeast is a cozy spot in Portland that brings a unique blend of relaxation and community vibes. Loyly is the Finnish word for the steam that rises when water is thrown onto hot sauna stones. Once you check in, there's lockers and showers to prepare to go into the communal space. There's also robes and sandals. In the communal area there's lounge chairs and two saunas. One meant for socializing and the other meant for peace and quiet. In the middle, there's an ice bath shower for you to cool off. There's even magazines to read or you can bring your own book. Hot tea to drink and a face mask to moisturize your skin. You can follow your sauna experience with a treatment like a foot scrub, massage, or facial. All the products used here are vegan as well! Loyly is by appointment only.

Facility is co-ed and swimwear is required.

Drop-in rates

• Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): $30 for a two-hour session

• Weekends (Friday-Sunday): $40 for a two-hour session 

Private rentals

• Weekdays: $300 for up to 5 people. Add $35 for each additional guest. Bookings are by advance request only.

• Weekends: $350 for up to 5 people. Add $35 for each additional guest. Bookings are by advance request only.

• Sauna Special: $67 for a two-hour session that includes a foot soak, face mask, and salt scrub.
