SCARRUPATA: Sardinia vibes in Ischia

If you’re hunting for the clearest, bluest water on the island, this is it. Honestly, the water here gives total Sardinia vibes, it’s insanely transparent and bright azure.

Pro Anchor Tip (Read this!): If you’re arriving by boat, which is definitely the most comfortable way, be super careful with where you drop anchor. Avoid the left side at all costs, it’s rocky and there’s a high chance your anchor will get stuck. Head more towards the center where the seabed is sandy, it’s much safer and easier to anchor there.

The Hike: If you’re feeling adventurous and want to go on foot, there is a trail, but fair warning: it’s pretty steep and rugged. It’ll take you about 30 minutes to reach the shore, so make sure you’re wearing the right shoes (leave the flip-flops in your bag for this part!).

Whether you boat in or hike down, the reward is a total slice of paradise.
