Living on the Northern tip of the island, I have been to Cluxewe many times. We would drive out for dinner and watch the sunset.
A First Nations-owned and operated wilderness retreat located on the ancestral Kwakiutl land on northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, where the Cluxewe River meets the Broughton Strait. It is a place of historical significance, identified as an "Origin site" in Kwakiutl oral history, set on 61 acres of towering trees and ocean air.
The resort is dedicated to showcasing and protecting its heritage, offering a blend of natural wonder and a tranquil, refuge-like atmosphere.
Waterfront Cottages & Suites: These self-contained units offer "rustic luxury" and come equipped with full kitchen facilities, bathrooms, bedding, towels, and satellite television. Many are situated right on the water, offering beautiful views.
Fully-serviced RV Sites: The resort features 152 campsites, including full and partial hookups for campers and RVs, with many located on the ocean or riverfront.
