BC Ferries connects Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and BC’s remote North Coast with reliable, year-round service. Whether you're road-tripping, exploring small coastal communities, or heading deep into the Inside Passage, the ferry system is the gateway to coastal travel.

Note: In the summer Hornby and Denman Island get very busy! There are no reservation system for the small routes to the Gulf Islands. Getting off Hornby in the late afternoon can be a little crazy! If we want to catch the last ferry at 6pm we make sure to be there an hour to two hours before. The Ferry crew are amazing at loading as many vehicles as they can. Sometimes they will add a extra run if extremely busy. Just be prepared to wait or sometimes it's completely quiet. Friday to Monday is the peak busy time.
