Filberg Park is a heritage property once home to a prominent logging family. Today, it’s a community park featuring manicured gardens, ocean views, and quiet walking paths through forest and lawn.
This is a nine-acre waterfront municipal heritage site in Comox, BC, featuring a 1930s Arts and Crafts-style lodge, meticulously landscaped gardens, and a rare tree arboretum. The park is a popular community hub for weddings, picnics, and major seasonal festivals.
Park Hours: Open daily from dawn until dusk year-round.
Gate & Washroom Hours: Starting January 1, 2025, the main gates and upper washrooms are open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. After 4:00 PM, use the pedestrian gate off Comox Avenue; lower washrooms remain available.
Admission: Park entry is free of charge, though donations are encouraged for lodge entry. Fees apply during special events like the Filberg Festival.
