The Eternal Fountain is a unique stream resurgence waterfall located on Vancouver Island, BC, where a waterfall flows out of a rock face and disappears into a cave, or swallet. It's a day-use site on the Alice Lake Loop, featuring a short trail through a second-growth forest with opportunities to view karst features like dolines and disappearing streams.

The Eternal Fountain is situated along the Alice Lake Loop, a 100-kilometer loop circuit accessible by a gravel logging road.

The Waterfall is a stream resurgence waterfall, meaning the water emerges from a cave and falls about 5 meters before disappearing into another underground cave.

The surrounding area showcases various karst features, including dolines (sinkholes), swallets (stream sinks), and disappearing streams.

A short, easy loop trail (0.3 km) leads visitors to the waterfall and other karst features. Second-Growth Forest: The site is located in a lush, second-growth forest.

Parking is available at the Eternal Fountain sign, and the trail is accessible for a leisurely walk.
