It's nicknamed "Little Hawaii" and is considered one of the most spectacular beaches on Vancouver Island's east side. The beach stretches almost 1 kilometer and is south-facing.

While the park is known for its day-use activities, overnight camping is not permitted. Considered a warm swimming area: The BC government recognizes Tribune Bay as one of the warmest saltwater swimming areas in the province
