The Kwisitis Visitor Centre, at the south end of Wickaninnish Beach, is an interpretive facility focusing on the natural and cultural heritage of the area. It features exhibits on local wildlife and the history of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations. Who have inhabited the region for thousands of years. The centre, formerly known as the Wickaninnish Interpretive Centre, includes a gift shop, a restaurant called Kwisitis Feast House, and has a deck ideal for storm watching.
