The Jordan River Campground on south Vancouver Island is a first-come, first-served campground with little privacy, but it is located right on the shoreline next to great surfing.

The rustic campground has a total of 23 sites. 15 drive-in and 7 walk-in tent-only sites, each with a fire ring.

Jordan River Regional Park Campground is part of the larger 187-hectare Regional Park, including Sandcut Beach.

Jordan River was once a tiny village. After a risk assessment, the hydro company bought the homes due to the risk of the Jordan River Dam breaching during a large earthquake.

Today, the strip includes a small coffee shop, the odd food truck, and access points for the many surfers who come from the nearby cities of Sooke and Victoria to enjoy the easily accessible waves.
