Located just north of Victoria, this hidden gem offers a serene, natural experience, often reached via a short hiking trail. It is a popular, scenic spot known for its impressive height and surrounding old-growth forest.

Situated within Goldstream Provincial Park, near the junction of Trans-Canada Highway #1 and Finlayson Arm Road.

The area is characterized by a lush, mossy canyon, providing a tranquil, natural escape. A short, relatively easy trail leads to the falls from the nearby parking area.

While beautiful year-round, the falls are particularly impressive during periods of high rainfall or in the winter when water flow increases.

The park also features a visitor center, campground, and trails that offer views of the surrounding area, including the Saanich Inlet.

The falls are sometimes called "Little Niagara" or "Golden Falls". It is crucial for visitors to stay on designated trails for safety and to protect the delicate ecosystem.

Expect mud and slick roots. Trekking poles help in wet conditions.
