The Ucluelet Aquarium is a non-profit, catch-and-release aquarium in Ucluelet that focuses on local marine life from Barkley and Clayoquot Sounds.
The local community effort that the Aquarium uses a sustainable model of collecting, showcasing, and then releasing all species back into the ocean at the end of each season to promote education and conservation. The facility features interactive displays like touch tanks, as well as hands-on educational programs and interpretive walks for visitors of all ages.
Their work is wet and cold, salt-stained and joyful. Striving to introduce visitors to specimens they may never have considered before, but are important cornerstones of healthy marine environments.
Operational hours:
They are open everyday March 1st- November 30th, including holidays.
March 1st-November 30th from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM).
There are no advanced bookings. Visitors can enter the aquarium on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adults: $18.00 (tax incl.)
Youth: (4 – 17) $11.00 (tax incl.)
Students: $13.00 (tax incl.)
Seniors: (65 +) $16.00 (tax incl.)
Children: 3 and under are free!
The Ucluelet Aquarium is wheelchair accessible. Their accessible entrance is located along the west side of the building on Main St, right before the Whiskey Dock. Please call or send a member of your group to the front desk, and we will gladly open the door for you. Our washrooms are wheelchair accessible.
