A 90-foot-high, powerful waterfall cascading from a narrow slot canyon into a deep gorge. Located off Highway 28, it features a short, 900-meter to 1-km, family-friendly trail through old-growth forest leading to a viewing platform with misty, scenic views.

  • Location: Strathcona Provincial Park, approx. 51km west of Campbell River.

  • Trail Length: ~0.9 km – 1 km return.

  • Waterfall Height: ~30 meters (90-100 feet).

  • Access: Short, steep, well-maintained, and well-marked trail with stairs.

  • Features: Old-growth forest, viewing platform, powerful flow.

  • Best Time to Visit: The falls flow strongly, even late in the summer.

  • Experience: The trail provides a "mist-on-your-face" experience from the viewing deck.

  • Accessibility: The trail is considered a "short hike" and is generally suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

  • Safety: There is no cell phone service in the area, so it is recommended to inform someone of your plans.
