Brady's Beach is a remote and scenic stretch of coastline located on the west side of Bamfield, BC, accessible by boat or a short walk from the West Bamfield Government dock. Multiple beaches, rocky sea stacks, and a unique blowhole at the south end of the second beach characterize it. The area is known for its wild, natural beauty, with gnarled trees and craggy rocks adding to the West Coast atmosphere.

Key features of Brady's Beach: Accessibility: Accessible by boat or a 20-minute walk from the West Bamfield dock. Multiple Beaches: A series of beautiful beaches separated by rocky headlands. Sea Stacks: Towering sea stacks dot the shoreline.

Blowhole: A blowhole at the south end of the second beach, which can spray water 20 feet in the air during a flooding tide.

Natural Beauty: Known for its wild, natural beauty with gnarled trees and rocks.

Bioluminescence: During warm summer nights, you might see bioluminescence blooms in the water. Beachcombing: A popular spot for beachcombing, with driftwood and seashells available.

Call the water taxi to take you from the East side of the Inlet to the West side. Once on the West side you can walk about 20-25 minutes (30-45 minutes with kids [remember mine are 2.5, 4, and 5] if you’re lucky) following the signs to Brady’s Beach down a dirt road, up and down hills, and when you get to a big beautiful tall structure labeled “Brady Loo” you know you’ve made it. Walk out onto the picturesque beach and enjoy the sea stacks, sandy beach, and tidepools.
