The Cable Bay Trail is a scenic gem located in Nanaimo. It offers visitors a chance to explore the stunning coastal views and lush landscapes that the area is known for.

As you hike along the trail, you'll find yourself surrounded by towering trees and vibrant greenery, with glimpses of the ocean peeking through the foliage.

The path winds its way down to Cable Bay, where folks can take a moment to soak in the beauty of the water and maybe even spot some wildlife. Make sure to walk all the way down to the narrows. This area has a strong tidal pull. We would sit and watch the boats at full speed, trying to pass the narrows. It is also a great place to watch seals and whales passing through.

It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists looking to enjoy a bit of nature without straying too far from the city.

Whether you're out for a stroll or a more vigorous hike, the Cable Bay Trail has something for everyone.
