Bere Point Beach and Campground is a coastal, drive-in backcountry style campsite on Malcolm Island, BC, offering about 30 forested campsites near the beach with views of the Queen Charlotte Strait. With a "no-services" campground with pit toilets and a day-use area, so campers must bring their own water. The site features a whale-watching platform, beach access, and the starting point for the Beautiful Bay Trail.
Location and access
From Port McNeill, take BC Ferries to Sointula.
Located on Malcolm Island, a short drive from Sointula. Turn left onto 1st St, then right on Bere Rd, and follow signs for the campground.

Activities and wildlife
Whale watching: A unique whale-watching platform is located at the site, with opportunities to see orcas rubbing on the shoreline rocks.
Hiking: The Beautiful Bay Trail begins here, offering a 10km round-trip hike through rainforest with ocean views.
Wildlife viewing: Beyond whales, the area is known for seals, sea lions, and various birds.

Overnight camping is not permitted in the day-use areas.
The campground is popular and can fill up quickly, so booking ahead is advised.
