This is a beautiful spot. We only drove in, but it's back on my list.
The Leiner River Recreation Site near Tahsis, BC, offers camping and a day-use area with access to swimming holes and a sandy beach. The area features several trails, including the Leiner River Estuary Trail (about 2 km, great for wildlife viewing) and the Leiner River Bouldering Trail.
The 8-site Leiner River Campsite is located east of Tahsis and has picnic tables and pit toilets.

Features: Passes through, under, and over large boulders and provides great views of the river.
Leiner River Boardwalk Trail:
Features: Includes raised walkways with viewing spots and runs from the trailhead to the salt flats.
