This is one of those places where architecture just wows you the moment you step in. The National Art Center in Tokyo isn’t just about exhibitions—the building itself is a piece of art. I love how the morning light filters through those huge glass walls and creates these soft shadows across the floor. It’s all about timing here.

Best moment to shoot? Definitely early morning when the sun hits from the side and throws long, layered shadows across the café area and up the wave-like walls. Sadly, I missed that perfect light last time, but even so, it’s still an incredible space to photograph. The geometry, the textures, the play of light—it’s a dream for anyone into modern architectural photography.

Tip:
Go early. Grab a coffee, find a spot near the top level, and watch the scene below come alive as the light shifts.
