Photospot

This incense burner in front of the temple always pulls me in. There’s something about the combination of tradition, motion, and light that makes this spot incredibly photogenic. I love getting close to the edge and framing the people around it—everyone wafting smoke toward themselves, eyes closed, hoping for a little blessing or good health.

In the morning, when the sun is still low, the light cuts through the smoke beautifully. It creates this soft, golden haze that makes the whole scene feel timeless. It’s busy, sure, but that energy adds to it. Every moment here feels alive.

But also make sure to visit the complete temple area, as there is a hidden photo spot behind each corner.

Best Time to Photograph:
Morning, especially with the sun behind the incense burner. The light filtering through the smoke adds a magical layer, and the crowd is just right—busy but not overwhelming.
