This is one of my favorite places to see cherry blossoms—there’s just something about how the trees lean over the water and form this pink tunnel that feels unreal. During full bloom, the petals cover the river like confetti, and at night the lanterns light up the scene with a soft glow that reflects beautifully on the surface.

Best Time to Photograph:

It’s stunning both day and night. During the day, the sunlight filters through the blossoms and creates this gentle, dreamy vibe. At night, it gets a little more lively but also feels super romantic with the lights and reflections. Just know: it gets really crowded—especially in the afternoon and evening, so come early if you want a calmer experience.

Note: Make sure you get off at Naka-Meguro Station, not Meguro Station. It’s a common mix-up, but Naka-Meguro drops you off right where the action is.
