This one’s a must if you're into elevated city views—right in the heart of Asakusa. From the rooftop of the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center, you get a stunning perspective over Nakamise Street leading all the way to Sensoji Temple. And the best part? It’s completely free.

I really love coming here around sunset. The city starts to glow, the lights come on one by one, and the temple shines like something out of a movie. You’ll often find a few other photographers up here, but it never feels too packed—though there can be a short wait for the elevator. Once you're up there, it’s easy to see why this view has become such a favorite.

Best Time to Photograph:
Definitely around sunset and into blue hour. The contrast between the temple’s golden lights and the deepening sky creates such a cinematic vibe. Bring a longer lens if you want to compress the busy Nakamise Street into the frame or catch tighter street-level scenes from above.
