A guide will lead you to a special course on the snowfield. The exhilaration of riding through the silvery white snowfield is exceptional.

Solo Snowmobile Riding 6km

January 2nd, 2026~March 31st, 2026

If you go to Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU in central Hokkaido, here is what actually matters: it is a modern, mostly ski-in/ski-out resort with light, dry powder, long cruisers and mellow beginner terrain plus some tree runs for intermediates, so it suits families and intermediate skiers who want reliable snow and resort comforts rather than extreme off-piste. Plan on roughly 90 to 120 minutes from New Chitose Airport by car, or take the JR to Tomamu Station and use the hotel shuttle; book transfers, lift passes, rentals and lessons in advance during peak weeks. Don’t miss the onsen and the seasonal attractions like the Ice Village and the Unkai Terrace/cloud sea experience, pack layers for big temperature swings, and expect fewer crowds than Niseko but busy hotel restaurants on holiday weekends.
