Hidden gem with blue waters

Brúarfoss is that jaw-dropping blue waterfall that looks like something out of a fairytale. 💙 The water is this electric blue colour that honestly doesn’t seem real — it’s because of the glacier meltwater flowing down through the lava rocks. It’s often called Iceland’s Bluest Waterfall, and yep, it lives up to the name.

It’s a bit more of a hidden spot compared to the big-name waterfalls, so you’ll need to hike about 3km (around 45 minutes) to get there. The trail winds through a lovely path along a river, and once you reach the falls? Total wow moment. 😍

There’s a bridge right over the waterfall, so you get this epic view of the water rushing through the narrow canyon below. It’s a quieter, less touristy vibe — and totally worth the walk.
