Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is a rad spot in Wyoming and Utah known for its epic red sandstone cliffs and the 91-mile-long Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Back in 1869, John Wesley Powell dubbed it "Flaming Gorge" during his Green River expedition because of those stunning cliffs. Nowadays, you can chill there, camp, bike, climb rocks, paddle, hike, boat, fish, and even raft down the Green River. It's like nature's playground, man. So if you're into outdoor adventures and breathtaking views, Flaming Gorge is where it's at!
