Wat Samphran is easily one of the most unique temples in Thailand—and yet, barely any tourists know about it! This is the one with the massive pink dragon wrapped around a 17-story tower, and yes, you can actually walk inside the dragon to reach the top. 🐉🏯

Why It’s So Cool:

🔥 The 80-meter-tall dragon tower – You can climb inside the dragon’s body through a tunnel-like staircase all the way to the top. Views from up there? Epic.
🔥 Super peaceful and less touristy – Unlike Bangkok’s more famous temples, this one has a quiet, almost mystical vibe. It’s an active monastery, so you might see monks going about their day.
🔥 Other cool statues – There’s a giant turtle, a massive Buddha, and hidden gardens around the complex, making it a fun place to explore.

Things to Know Before You Go:

📍 Location: About 40km from Bangkok in Nakhon Pathom. Best way to get there? Taxi or rental car.
💰 Entry Fee: Technically free, but donations are appreciated.
Opening Hours: Usually 8 AM - 5 PM.
👗 Dress Code: It’s still a temple, so cover shoulders & knees.

If you want to see something totally out of a fantasy movie, Wat Samphran is worth the trip. Plus, how often do you get to walk inside a dragon?! 🐉🔥
