Seljalandsfoss is that waterfall you can walk behind (except if it's icy) — and yes, it’s just as epic as it sounds. 💧 It drops from a cliff about 60 metres high, with a little cave-like path that lets you go all the way around the falls. Bring a raincoat because you’ll definitely get drenched, but honestly, the view from behind the waterfall? Totally worth it. 🌈

It’s especially magical at sunset when the light hits the water just right. And if you’re up for more exploring, there’s a hidden gem nearby — Gljúfrabúi, a smaller waterfall tucked inside a canyon. You have to wade through a narrow opening to see it, but it feels like stepping into a secret world. 🪄

Seljalandsfoss is right off the Ring Road, so it’s an easy stop — but go early or late to avoid the big crowds!
