Laguna Torre is a glacial lake in Los Glaciares National Park near El Chaltén, Argentina, known for its breathtaking views of the iconic Cerro Torre. The trail to the lake is a moderately challenging full-day hike that winds through valleys, rivers, and forests before opening to a dramatic amphitheater of jagged peaks, glaciers, and floating icebergs. Unlike the steeper ascent to Laguna de los Tres, the route to Laguna Torre is more gradual, making it accessible to many hikers while still offering one of Patagonia’s most spectacular landscapes.
