Cascada Río Paine is a powerful waterfall on the Paine River, located between Lago Nordenskjöld and Lago Pehoé in Torres del Paine National Park. The cascade is framed by the dramatic backdrop of the Cuernos del Paine, making it a spectacular photography stop, especially on clear days when the Torres (Towers) rise directly behind the rushing water.

Easily accessible from the park’s main road, it’s a short stop that rewards visitors with both scenic beauty and the thundering sound of glacial waters carving through the Patagonian landscape.

IMPORTANT: Access to Torres del Paine National Park requires purchasing a ticket in advance via the CONAF portal at https://pasesparques.cl .

This ticket must be bought online before your visit, and the park only accepts entrance with a valid pass—either printed or stored on your mobile device—along with your ID.
