Anse Major is one of the most secluded beaches on Mahe and is perfect if you love an adventure, as you can only reach this beach by boat or by hiking. The hike to Anse Major is around 2.5 km long with an 85 m elevation gain, taking about 45-60 minutes to complete. It's a relatively easy to moderate hike, offering a mix of flat paths and rocky terrain.

Once you reach the beach, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Just make sure to pack enough water and snacks, and cash if you want to buy anything from the small beach bar.
