Urban Rigger is designed by BIG and is the first rigger community of floating homes that has 72 apartments in the harbour of Copenhagen. .

Urban Rigger was founded in 2013 as a response to the shortage of housing in Copenhagen. On top of having your own personal space, your home is surrounded by community areas, where you can connect with your neighbours for dinners, game nights, rooftop gatherings or a swim in the harbour. Urban Rigger encourages conscious living, from tiny living to resource consideration and is a new opportunity for co-living.

Currently only students and people around 50+ can live at Urban Rigger. Prices vary according to the location on the rigger.
