Nezu Shrine, located in the Bunkyō ward of Tokyo, is a beautiful and ancient Shinto shrine that dates back to the first century. Nezu Shrine has been renowned for its breathtaking Azalea Festival (Tsutsuji Matsuri) held each spring for many years. The shrines’ grounds also provide some stunning photographs with its two main red myōjin torii gates, a two-story rōmon gate, the main honden structure, and a path of vermillion torri through the hillside with a viewing platform over a pond. Additionally, there is a karamon and sukibei wall which are both designated Important Cultural Properties. Those wishing to visit this stunning site are just a short walk away from the Nezu Station or Todaimae Statin.
