This one is not thai at all, but I had to put it in here as it's a perfect spot for photography Japan outside of Japan. Hinoki Land is one of the latest attractions in Chiang Mai. The atmosphere is so peaceful with the lake at the left side and amazing view of the mountain behind the main temple. You will feel like you're in Japan. The main wooden castle is spectacular with one of the largest pond with thousands of koi fish that you can feed. At the time of visit it was 99 THB but Ithink nowadays it's 130 THB. You can also rent japanese costumes there, and there are tons of photo opportunities between the Torii gates, the flower garden, the castle, the lanterns, the kois pond, etc...
