Hidden amidst the breathtaking Khao Sam Roi Not National Park in Prachuap Khan Province lies the mysterious Phraya Nakhon Cave. From the entrance of the national park, you have a choice, you can either continue by boat to Laem Sala Beach, which costs 200 baht, or you can take the strenuous 30-minute 2km hike over the hill to the beach. From Laem Sala Beach, another hike of about 430 meters awaits, around 30-40 minutes. It leads over uneven and sometimes steep steps through the mysterious forest. The best time for photo is between 10 and 11AM when the ray of light appears and touches the pavillion. Unfortunately for me, it was a cloudy day and Iarrived a bit late, so no luck there. Make sure to go a bit early as you have 10-15 minutes of boat +40 minutes hike before getting there. It's clearly a difficult hike, so take good shoes, bring your tripod, and ND filters for some long exposure shots.
