The Royal Park Rajapruek was built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Accession to the throne as well as His Majesty 80th birthday. This large floral and botanical park has an incalculable number of plants and flowers and a nice orchids garden. You will also find a large driveway leading to the very refined Ho Kham Luang Royal Pavilion. The park hosts many events, including on New Year's Eve or Loy Krathong in November and a floral festival. If you love beautiful gardens, visiting this park should please you! The best time to visit it is from December to February. I underestimated the size and the beauty of the place, as its huge and takes quite a lot of time to visit, so plan at least 3 to 4 hours if you want to see everything. You can walk around or use the shuttle which will take you around the park. The orchid garden is quite impressive and there are also many typical gardens from countries from all over the world. which are very photogenic. It's a no fly zone for drones, but you can launch it from the road behind the park. Price is 200 THB for foreigners, 100 THB for thai, but if you have a long term visa, you can get the thai price. Open from 8AM to 6PM
