Chapman's Peak is a stunning mountain on the western side of the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town, South Africa. It falls steeply down hundreds of meters into the Atlantic Ocean, making it an ideal spot for sightseeing. It's road, Chapman's Peak Drive, winds across the face of the mountain and has amazing views of Hout Bay, The Sentinel Peak and surrounds, as well as Noordhoek Beach. The official opening of the road was made by Prince Arthur of Conaught in 1922. It was regarded then and still today as an engineering feat due to how it’s carved from the face of the mountain. Activities available include walking hikes and cycling along the famous race routes of Cape Argus and Two Oceans Marathon. This remarkable mountain offers stunning views that will definitely add to any scenic adventure!
